We’re happy to announce that we’ve partnered with One Tree Planted to plant trees!
Your yearly membership goes toward planting trees with our partner One Tree Planted
We will plant one tree for every new member to further our mission of creating a healthy and biodiverse planet. The trees will be planted in the Albertine Rift region in Uganda to support and connect chimpanzee habitat, as well as benefit the local communities nearby for a positive environmental and social impact.
We’ve funded a multitude of programs in the past three years and you can see some of them on our Projects page. Nicci Wright’s pangolin rehabilitation program including surgical costs, re-release tagging expenses with state of the art telemetry tracking equipment for their safe monitoring. Cheetah, rhino and elephant relocations for programs ranging from repopulation to over population! We’ve funded medical, travel, equipment and supplies for frontline veterinarians. Educational experiences for children in Africa to witness a rhino dehorning and understand why it’s sadly needed and why their precious wildlife has to be protected for Africa’s ecology and prosperity. We’ve built a school creche for young children in a Zululand community. We purchased boots and much needed supplies for anti-poaching rangers in Kwa-ZuluNatal. We purchased 12 bicycles for rangers in the northern most regions of South Africa’s Kruger Park. In Kenya we funded a water tower and monthly water supply for rangers in a remote part of Kenya where elephants migrate to have their young. We’ve provided food and medical supplies for rhino and hippo orphan and aided in rhino recovery.
Our giving is two fold - protecting and defending Africa’s vulnerable wildlife, and supporting the surrounding communities impacted by its wildlife. If you donate monthly, you automatically become a member of our Over and Above family and receive regular updates and a video of each finalized project!
We also welcome and appreciate one-time donations because all contributions are crucial to this crisis. All hands on deck!
